Cars that spent their life in the Rockies typically have less rust damage than cars from coastal or high-humidity regions, since dry air slows corrosion. What Colorado’s climate does add is more sun exposure, so paint and interior UV damage tends to be more common here than structural rust — which changes where the restoration budget usually needs to go.
